When Harmonia made an album, it was about more than music. It was about a vision.
Deluxe, released in 1975, was the band's second work. Instead of pure sound experiments, this album brought structure, melody, and rhythm more into focus. Harmonia showed a new side – musically more accessible, without losing any of its depth.
50 years later, Deluxe is being released in a special anniversary edition – as a high-quality gatefold with previously unreleased visual material and on orange vinyl, inspired by the artwork of the original pressing.
This edition is not only interesting for collectors, but for anyone who wants to understand why artists like Brian Eno or David Bowie counted Harmonia among their most important influences – and why Deluxe is still considered a blueprint for electronic music today. Brian Eno himself once called Harmonia "the world’s most important rock band"1 – an assessment that could hardly better emphasize how visionary this music was then and still is today.
